Alexander Davis

Alex’s collections for Rowan Davis Jewellery are informed by his background in science and engineering, combining striking colours with bold forms, and using innovative setting techniques to produce seductive and decadent pieces of jewellery.  Careful consideration is given to the balance of different components and the presentation of each gemstone to the wearer.  The play of light throughout the piece is also a key aspect of the design.

Along with hand fabrication, Alex uses a range of new techniques such as CADCAM and laser assembly.  He also uses new and exciting materials such as palladium and carbon fibre.

Using close attention to detail and refined sweeping forms, Alex has created a unique range of jewellery that is both exciting and fun to wear.
